Here's what Karley has to say about some of her favorite indie shops: Aunt Nancy's Handmade Soaps is my favorite shop to buy soap! From the peppermint bar with cocoa to her Island Coconut, her palm oil-free soaps are second to none. I've been buying soaps from Nan since January of 2008 and I am more in love with each bar. I so admire her commitment to being palm oil free since the trade is killing off so many orangutans. Nan is a gem to talk to and is the epitome of a soaper. I love the quality so much that she even custom makes my facial bar for my shop with royal jelly and local NY honey. I'm in love with her soaps! Kristin Perkins Glass Jewelry makes the best quality pieces. I adore her chic and modern earrings, and the craftsmanship is amazing. If you're looking for jewelry you can wear each and everyday that is just diffferent from what you'll find in stores, you have to check our Kristin's shop. I'm thrilled to be her customer! My friend Trina introduced me to The $5.00 French Market. Every item in the shop is $5 and you can find great accents for your Paris apartment decor. I love, love everything from there. They have lovely ribbons and tags available, and you can use these to make the most gorgeous gift packages. Everything they have is fun! Beppies is my favorite shop for gorgeous chunky necklaces. I have two fabulous pieces I wear all the time. I just adore this place! I wear black often and her colorful necklaces provide just the right touch to an otherwise basic boatneck top. I also have to mention Crater Lake Company. Sharonn makes the best fragrance on earth called Coconut Bavarois. It is intoxicating. She also has some great SLS-free shampoos and stellar conditioners.
