Grouse & Badger is comprised of twin sisters who spent several weeks in the UK and ended up dealing in antiques. As time went on, they moved over to the antique liquidation business. As they say, “When you are in the antique liquidation business you get everything….the good, the bad and the ugly. And many times there is a LOT of ugly!”

So what does one do when they have a bunch of funky things that they don’t know what on earth to do with? Well…if you’re smart, you make jewelry. They started with traditional typewriter jewelry and have expanded into watch face jewelry, steam punk, monopoly, full-watch and chatelaine style jewelry.

The earrings that you see here are made with old typewriter keys. We’ve certainly come a long way since my junior high days of learning how to type on a typewriter. Whiteout anyone? Each earring is made with your choice of letter, number or punctuation. The keys all come from vintage Smith Corona typewriters.
