Indies of the Week: Bead Dreamer/Bath by Riley - June 5, 2009
There’s a number of reasons to fall in love with The Bead Dreamer. One of them is that Charlene, owner of The Bead Dreamer, uses a variety of styles in her unique creations and you won’t see the same thing over and over again. The second reason is the affordability of her pieces. Shoppers can easily purchase more than one item and really have your wardrobe ready for summer!
Check out these lovely earrings pictured here. These are called Symone earrings and are inspired by ceramic tiles. The crystal at the bottom makes them shine even more in the light. For just $35.00, your ears can be adorned with something that the neighbors just don’t have. Because as I keep sayin’, you don’t need to be like anyone else.
One thing that makes The Bead Dreamer really stand out is that Charlene has categorized her jewelry into Warm Tones, Cool Tones and Neutrals as well as by the type of jewelry. Sometimes you know that you want a certain color or shade to go with that special outfit and this makes it easier for shoppers that just can’t make up their minds or need a little additional assistance.
It’s guaranteed that you are going to love shopping here. And don’t miss the Sales and Specials section where all jewelry is priced under $20.00! Hooray for a good sale! Let them know that we sent you on over.
Okay…let it be said once and for all. Lorie Riley of Bath by Riley is one of the best saleswomen that I have ever met in my life. Seriously…if you’ve got a little five foot gal jumping up and down and excited over her own products, you can be sure that the cash is going to fly. I assisted Lorie in her Shecky’s show in Chicago in March and I’ve never seen such excitement from shoppers. She outdid every booth there. Sorry…I know there was a lot of great stuff at Shecky’s but Bath by Riley was the most popular. Or as Lucy Ricardo would say…poopular. Anyone remember the Vitametavegamin commercial?
This charming business has created the coolest thing. You all know about scrubs, right? And when you go for a manicure, some of the better salons will use a scrub on your hands to make them smooth. Well…rather than an entire jar of scrub (which Lorie used to sell), she’s created scrub candies that actually look like candies that you unwrap and pop in your mouth. Add a tad of water to your hand, scrub your hands like crazy and rinse. Your hands will be just like a newborn baby’s. That’s because they contain mango and shea butter. And in scents like Afternoon Tea, Flirtini, Hippie Love, Hula Girl, Sugar Baby Sparkle and Yacht Club, you’re guaranteed to find more than one scent that you can fall in love with.
Other products include Fizzles (bath bombs), Tub Cakes (for the bath and they look like real cupcakes), Whipped Sugar Scrub (if you decide that you need an entire jar), Bubbletub Cookies (for the tub and they look like cookies) and Lotion Push Pops (you can carry these in your purse and not have to worry about spills).
Enjoy enjoy! Shopping at Bath by Riley is so much fun. And take a look at their upcoming shows. They may be coming to a location near you!
