You’re going to love the products over at 29 & Co. because they’re made fresh for each customer & with outstanding ingredients. Let’s take a trip over to Freeport, IL and meet Amanda Meier and her business & beautiful website.

Amanda started 29 & Co. in 2007. According to the website, “It all started when she hosted a home party for a popular skincare company. It was at that party she was educated on ingredients that many well-known retail and department store brands use in their products that lessen quality while leading us to believe that we are buying something natural.”

“Armed with this knowledge, while combining her entrepreneurial drive and a passion for living a natural and organic life, so began the countless hours of research looking for the best ingredients out there that would protect, nourish, and heal the skin while keeping in line with the end goal – a product line containing ingredients nature has so generously supplied to us without the unnecessary chemical fillers.”

What are some of the things that make 29 & Co. different? Well…their products are paraben free, contain no synthetic dyes, colors or fragrances (which is good if you have allergies), no silicones, mineral oil or petrolatum is used and of course….none of the products are tested on animals.

We loved what we sampled from 29 & Co. and I have to let you in on my awesome discoveries. She sent over one of her best sellers which is their Vanilla Grapefruit Body Polish. This product is loaded with shea butter and coconut oil and has the most GORGEOUS fragrance. Your skin will be soft and happy and the mood that this scent will put you in is not to be believed. I can easily see why this is a best seller.

Next was the lip balm in almond. This stuff is niiiiiiice. It slid right on and doesn’t feel greasy at all. And I loved the almond scent. It contains coconut oil, avocado oil & jojoba oil. If your lips always need to be smooth, this product is a MUST ORDER.

Finally…say a big hello to their Cashmere Body Spray. Scented in Mandarin Lime and infused with jojoba and coconut oil, it’s more like a dry oil spray that has a gorgeous & happy scent! Yes, your skin WILL feel like cashmere. Love it!

Head on over and you’ll see why I’m raving about this indie business. Let Amanda know that you saw her here…at the center of the universe…Wickedly Chic. Use code SPRINGCHIC at checkout and receive 20% off of your order through the end of May.

Now picture this…you open up your mailbox…you’re kind of having a “meh” month…the mailbox smells heavenly…and you know it’s going to be a good day. This is exactly what happened when I opened the box from Northwest Soy Candles. Based in Lake Stevens, Washington, this is a small company that clearly knows what they’re doing when it comes to candles.

Miranda, the owner of Northwest Soy, sent over a large sampling of her fragrances and these are some of the strongest soy melts (tarts) and votives that I’ve ever burned.

What scents did we try? Tuberose, Cotton Blossom, Hazelnut Coffee, Hot Cranberry Tea, Fresh Cut Grass, Balsam & Cedar (this is a difficult scent to find and so wonderful), Honeydew Melon, Strudel & Spice, Plumeria, Cinnamon Stick, Lavender Vanilla, Bayberry and Vanilla Cucumber Melon. Not a dud in the bunch. All of them are strongly scented and shoppers will be so pleased. And the labels (although simple) are very cute. I’m very happy with Northwest Soy.

In addition, those of you who love reed diffusers will be happy with theirs. Mine is in Lemon Cream and what a great fragrance that is. None of the Lemon Pledge type of odor to it…this is a delightful lemon cream.

The shipping rate at Northwest Soy is a flat $4.99. I love this! A great price and you can stock up without paying an arm & a leg for shipping. And you save on gas by having your new candles come right to your door.

Go on and visit Miranda at Northwest Soy. Give yourself a happy day when your mailbox smells of waxy love.
