Indies of the Week: Deb's Design/4th Avenue Soap Co. - September 11, 2008
I don’t know about you but I’m a sucker for sending out a cute greeting card for any occasion. Most of us know that we should send out thank you cards & other notes but don’t have any on hand and then lazily resort to email. Make life easy on yourself and bring others some good old fashioned mailbox cheer. Deb’s Design is owned by Deb herself, Deb Averett that is. Skip over the card section at Target or Walgreens & check out what Deb has in store for you.
Her prices are down to earth & the cards are darling. A set of 12 notecards with your name on them with matching envelopes will set you back a whopping $13.00. With today’s sluggish economy, this is good news for shoppers & especially for gift giving.
You’ll find sweet sets of thank you cards & gift tags in Deb’s shop. I love the simplicity of these & don’t forget the fact that you are getting all of this cuteness from a small business. Get yourself some cards. My mother-in-law wants you to. She’s the queen of cards for any occasion. And she says that letter writing never went out of style. I have to believe her. Ooooh…and grab yourself a personalized set with your name on them.
Gorgeous gorgeous gorgeous soap. Is three times enough? Perhaps not. You simply have to follow me over to 4th Avenue Soap Co. & take a peek. Seriously…prepare to feast your eyes on some of the most beautiful soap you’ve ever seen.
Sarah Massagee is a master at creating beauty and it starts with her soap. The bar pictured here is Pear Vanilla Oatmeal and it smells amazing! Loaded with coconut oil & glycerin and without any detergents, surfectants, sulfates or alcohol, you just know that this product is great for your skin. Other lovely scents (and soaps) include Manuka & Lavender (to die for), Pomegranate Peach, Cashmere & Pearls, Cucumber Mint & Pink Peony…& plenty of others.
I’ve become addicted (and I’m almost out) to their lip balms. These come in a cute plastic snap case for easy application & contain avocado, shea, jojoba, palm, meadowfoam, and neem oils as well as shea and avocado butters. Lime Sugar is outstanding!
Skincare is also represented here & I highly recommend 4th Avenue’s Antioxidant Face Creme. Oh how I love this product. It contains avocado, rose hip, wheat germ and carrot oils & is enriched with vitamins A, B, C & E. Just $10.00 will buy you a gorgeous jar of this outstanding creme that will last you forever. Just do it. Visit 4th Avenue today. You won’t regret it.
We have an excellent freebie this week for all of you artsy types. Click this link to download an exclusive Wickedly Chic collage from Charming Sam.
