Okay…here’s the deal. You are looking for a very cool treat for yourself or someone else that you know but you just don’t know what it is. Not to worry, dear readers. I’ve got an answer for you. Simply purchase a PODillow. This small business describes a PODillow as the perfect face-down tanning & massage pillow. It’s true. These are so awesome & you never even knew you needed one, did you?

Now I do love the sun…in moderation, of course. I’m not much of a sunbather because I always seem to have my nose in a book or a magazine. But for laying around the house…the PODillow is so comfortable. The pillow is designed for your total lounging comfort. Take it with you to a massage or just hanging around & laying on your side.

The PODillow website says that “The PODillow® is a unique combination of two separate sections. The upper pillow portion is a spandex/polyester outer cover that is filled with polystyrene micro beads. The beaded pillow construction allows you to mold it for that personal fit. The pillow is attached to the base with hook & loop straps, and is easily separated from the base for machine washing.”

“The lower portion of the PODillow is made of a soft “skinned” (smooth surface) polyurethane foam. The foam base is soft and flexible, but sturdy enough to maintain the shape of the “air-channels”. The three air-channels allow for a constant supply of fresh air while you use your PODillow in the facedown position. The “skinned” foam will not absorb liquids, and is a “low conductor of heat”. These features make it perfect for beach and pool environments.”

If that isn’t enough, the pillows have two internal pockets for storing all of your stuff (especially things like keys, MP3 players, etc.) while you are just resting or sunning yourself.

The pillows are reasonably priced at $29.95 so grab one for yourself and a friend. It’s a gift that is worth sharing.

Barbara Harmon produces some of the most luxurious body products that your little bod can imagine. A previous life of living in Europe & a long career with Clinique brought Barb to the point of creating her own items after lots of research.

If you’re like me, you’ll notice her lovely vintage labels right away. This drew me in. After trying her products, I’m hooked.

The Luxe Riviera Shower Gel (I tried the Truffle Delight) is perfect for my skin which tends to be dry. I’m the moisture queen. I don’t like anything that leaves my skin feeling less than soft. This cleanser does the trick. The Truffle Delight is an amazing blend of sugar, buttercream, white chocolate, maple, caramel & vanilla. You’ll love it.

The Almost Sinful Sucre Scrub is not to be believed. My parents live near one of the most perfect beaches in the world & this scrub reminds me of the texture of the fine white sand. I used the Martinique and this scent is fabulous. Barb says that she can’t get enough of Martinique and I don’t blame her. It’s a blend of yuzu, mandarin, tangerine, lemon & ruby red grapefruit & rounded out with bergamot & oakmoss. Perfection!

goat's milk cream

Finally, I tried their Truly Decadent Goat’s Milk Body Creme in White Zinfandel. I loved the product but wasn’t sure how I would feel about this scent…and have since changed my mind. This creme sinks in easily, lasts for hours & the White Zinfandel has turned out to be a very sophisticated scent that I really like.

Other beautiful scents available in all products are Provence, South of France, Antibes, Ginger Papaya & Creme Brulee.

A great line of pampering items with a wonderful proprietress. To top it off, The French Elements is offering free shipping on all purchases through the month of August. It’s definitely a good time to stock up.
