Fresh and Chic: Re-Usable & Eco-Friendly by Amy Dikes - July 10, 2008I have tried to incorporate many eco-friendly products and activities into my home for years. While I’m by no means an expert, I do feel better about many of my choices. As an unexpected bonus, I have been pleasantly surprised to find that many things pay for themselves pretty quickly, and then continue to save me money over time. Can’t beat that!
There are so many wonderful products available that I’m not even beginning to scratch the surface here, but I’d like to share at least a few indie business sites whose products I’ve used and wholeheartedly recommend:
Great customer service and tons of great products add up to one of my absolute favorite eco-friendly sites. They carry way more than bags! All natural cleaning, body and pet care kits. Nellie’s All-Natural
Hands down, the best eco-friendly laundry powder I have ever used. I’ve tried lots and lots of brands, commercial and hand-made, and this is my favorite. Darling, recyclable packaging too! Flying Needle Gallery
Gorgeous, high quality cloth napkins and handkerchiefs, and more. An organic line is also available. Super cool Bento-style reusable lunch kits for kids. Made in California with plastic that is FDA approved for food use. Reduces waste and has encouraged me to pack healthier school lunches. We appreciate Amy giving us such awesome suggestions for a healthier household. Visit Amy’s shop, Barefoot Bling.
