LOL is one of the first internet words (is it a word?) that I learned back in the computer dark ages…back in the 90’s. It’s also the name of a happy & fun smelling business that sells tarts or melts. Laughing Out Loud Candles is owned by the darling Allison Darton & this is one of the first small businesses that I ever ordered from. She’s been in business for a long time & with good reason.

I’d better back up and explain about the tarts in case any of you are wondering if I’m talking about a bakery item. Tarts (or melts) are pieces of wax that you burn in a melter. The majority of the tarts from LOL are in a scallop shape. You simply place your tart in the top of the burner, put a tealight underneath & burn until there is no more luscious scent. Then you know that it’s time for a new tart. The tarts from LOL will get you through more than just one tealight, though.

Choose from over 300 excellent scents. I tried some of her new ones and there wasn’t a miss in the bunch. My latest recommendations are Booper’s Marshmallow Cupcakes, Persephones Ambrosia, Azure Seas, Birthday Cake & Keylime Buttercream. Many of the LOL scents are exclusive blends. You can order in your choice of tarts, cute bakery type melts or candles. I guarantee that you will love this shop.
