Fresh and Chic: Saphoros Spa Essentials/Danielle & Co. - May 15, 2008
One of my favorite newly discovered (at least to me) indie businesses this year, Saphoros Spa Essentials is back once again. Donna Standridge is the power behind this biz & our first feature highlighted their mineral makeup line along with the wonderful Lavender Cleansing Milk. You can see their first feature here.
This time around, we’ll take a look at some of the pampering bath & body products to get you all geared up for the warm weather & bare skin. For a great spa treat, I loved their Exfoliating Shower Gel. Shower gel & exfoliation is a good combination for me & this excellent product contains jojoba beads so that your skin will be perfectly smooth. The Kulu Bay scent is refreshing & beautiful. 
I’m a big fan of scrubs & can’t seem to get enough of the exfoliation process. I love their Thai Coconut Milk Scrub…I love thai curries so it all makes sense. Except that this isn’t like putting curry on your skin, really. This fabulous product contains dead sea salts, organic shea butter, macadamia butter, kukui oil, avocado oil…along with the coconut milk. I promise that your skin will love this & you’ll groove on the beachy scent that will linger on your skin.
Put it all together with the Monoi Tiare Body Lotion. This product contains Monoi de Tahiti oil along with Kokum butter. It feels wonderful on your skin. I noticed that Saphoros has an In-Shower Moisturizer as well that can be ordered in many different scents. These are very popular as you can use them in the shower and not have to put any moisturizer on when you step out. You’ll find the little cruelty-free bunny on all of the products from Saphoros. I love their products, the great scents & the gorgeous packaging. One of their best sellers is the Ivy and Aloe soap…it’s loaded with shea butter, aloe vera & coconut oil. A total spa experience…this green bar is heavenly. I also tried the Fresh off the Line scented soap. Move over Zest…as with the Ivy and Aloe, Fresh off the Line has a great line-up of ingredients along with…you guessed it…a very fresh and relaxing scent. 
Their Shea Body Washes are another great product & since I am crazy about lavender, I was in heaven with the Lavender and Spearmint scent. This has the perfect balance of relaxing lavender & refreshing spearmint. I loved the Green Tea and Melon scent as well. Another perfect balance…for this stressful world we live in. The body washes contain organic oils.
