Fresh and Chic: Panhandle Girl/Yosifa Penina - May 8, 2008
I’m a sucker for adorable packaging & PanhandleGirl has just that. Whoever knew that bathing could be such a happy event making you want to tear off the darlin’ label from a fresh bar of soap? We’ve been on a soap kick lately in Wickedly Chic & I have to let y’all know…buy from all of them! That’s right…skip over the grocery/drugstore/chain store selection & grab your shower lovin’ from these indie businesses.
Another reason to love PanhandleGirl is that this soap is produced in one of my very favorite cities…Savannah, GA. They take a slew of healthy ingredients, combine them with love & sass, and come up with some of the most fun products out there. I just have to share this from their website, “PanhandleGirl strives to follow her motto closely: perfecting the art of self-indulgence. Ingredients and materials are of the highest quality, natural, sustainably sourced and responsibly recycled whenever possible. Minimal packaging creates minimal waste.”
“But in all our do-good or at least no harm fervor, PanhandleGirl believes that in body care…scent, texture, color and presentation are as important as making sure old-growth sandalwood trees are around for another five hundred years. So PanhandleGirl products are incredibly well-made, unique, retro-glamtasticly hot. Words have to be made-up to capture the nature of our fierce.”
“PanhandleGirl exists to unify pleasure in nature, in self and in that quiet, contented mental space fat kitties and good-natured dogs seem to always occupy. It’s a dreamy ambition PanhandleGirl pursues in her work, and like all good dreams, it’s fun and unexpected and memorable.” “PanhandleGirl hopes you rock it just as hard as she does.” Don’t ya just love it? I loved their soaps including Mermaid Power (ginger-lime), Tart (citrus-mint), Emerald City (citrus-tea tree) & Flaming Heart (frankincense & myrrh) & Doc Love (sweet orange & lemon essential oils). They all smell fabulous & make bath time a happy time. I’m also very fond of their foot cream called Smoove (love the name). The cream contains peppermint, eucalyptus & tea tree which. The peppermint & eucalyptus make your feet smell & feel great & the tea tree has antibacterial properties. You’ll love your shopping experience here. Let them know you found them in Wickedly Chic!
