Fresh and Chic: Beau Savon/Eclectic Eccentricity - May 1, 2008

Jane Brooks of Beau Savon loves to wow her buyers and she has wonderful treats for your body in her shop. Her soaps are…in one word…gorgeous. Starting with the beautiful gift-quality packaging…to the luscious scents…and the way they make your skin feel…these are fab.

Let me entice you with some of Beau Savon’s unique fragrances. I’m crazy for Limoncello which is lemon scented with a hint of nutmeg. This bar is loaded with shea butter for great moisturizing (nice & refreshing for summer). How about St. Pete Beach, scented with reminders of Florida citrus (minus the lemon)? It’s beautiful. Pomegranate Splash is another awesome scent with pomegranate & grapefruit notes. Do not miss the Fresh Linen…a lovely scent with notes of citrus, ginger & bergamot.

These are wickedly good soaps that will make your mouth water & your bath better than ever. I promise.

Other high-quality items are sold through the Beau Savon website including bath accessories, exquisite soap dishes and soy candles. Let Jane know that Wickedly Chic sent you…& keep this indie business in mind for gift giving (as well as treating yourself).

Over in Norfolk, England, Eclectic Eccentricity is making some really fun jewelry to add to your collection. Ready for some fun in your life? Follow me.

Lucy Averill describes her shop as having “jewellery with inspired kookiness.” There is just no way to choose only one of her charming pieces…each one perfectly kooky in its own right.

Pictured here is the adorable “My Heart Belongs to Daddy” necklace which includes a brass heart charm and a pink rose. Can you really imagine anything sweeter than this?

I find that Lucy’s style takes me back to a simpler time (I feel positively kid-like just browsing through her work)...she uses many vintage pieces & you have to smile at her creativity and talent.

Grab yourself a treat from this indie shop. You can shop in pounds at Eclectic Eccentricity or dollars at her Etsy store.
