Fresh and Chic: bluebasins Bath & Body/Cursive Design - April 17, 2008
So many of us are always on an on-going quest to find beauty products that smell good, feel good & are good for your skin. It’s been said many times that what you put on your skin goes into your skin…so you wanna feed it right.
Over at bluebasins Bath & Body, they’ve got the natural thing down to a science. Owner Makeda Paul (who happens to be a Certified Aromatologist) has many recipes for healthy body products which have been passed down from generation to generation. This is the time of year when those of us in the colder climates start to think about bare feet. Readers, you simply must try the Peppermint & Tea Tree products for your tootsies. The foot butter contains cedarwood which is said to be good for smelly feet. The Exfoliating Foot Scrub combined with the foot butter is wonderful. 
We also tried the Wake Me Up Soap which contains coconut oil as well as sweet almond & olive oil. This is a delightful smelling soap containing both peppermint & lemongrass essential oils.
Finally, I’d recommend their Exfoliating Cocoa Butter & Sugar Body Scrub. This is one of the best products that I have ever tried. I love to scrub and I really loved this one on my hands, especially. I’m kind of weird about that…I have a phobia about always having my hands look soft & moisturized and not dry looking. This takes care of that issue. Loaded with cocoa butter and avocado oil, this is a real winner! Say hello to our Canadian friends and stop on over at bluebasins.
