Indies of the Week: Just Right Candles/Ry Stephens Design - March 27, 2008
So…it’s been a well-known fact that I have an obsession with home fragrance products and I get very excited when I have the chance to try new ones. I’m thrilled to introduce you to Just Right Candles this week. Amanda Kennerly is the woman behind this indie biz & she does an amazing job with her candles & melts.
The candles from Just Right are wickless candles. They come in a jar and you can either place the jar on a flat warmer (you can pick them up at any major discount store for about 5 bucks) or you can purchase a really cool one from Just Right for about $20.00. The melters that Just Right sells will enable you to either stick your candle right in the top of the melter (it’s removable) or you can use it to burn wax melts.
The idea behind a wickless candle is that you don’t have to worry about a flame burning. You’ll still get a great scent throw…just no flame. And let me tell you…these babies are strong. You won’t even have to think for a moment that you won’t get the same scent throw as a burning candle. The candles come in 3 oz., 8 oz. or 15 oz. sizes. Mine is scented in Mulberry and this is a delightful scent…perfect for any time of year. I loved it & I also love my new melter.
I also sampled the Blueberry, Raspberry & Strawberry mini melts. Yum. These are great. The mini melts come in a bag and you can just pop a few or more out and put them in your melter.
I just have to tell you about something else. Just Right has a Scent of the Month Club. Get this…for just $20.00 (including shipping!), you will receive one 8 ounce candle, one jumbo melt, 3 mini melts and one car freshener in that month’s scent. This is a great gift for yourself or for someone special.
Be sure to sign up for their newsletter to get your name in for the monthly drawing of a $25.00 gift certificate.
We all seem to be on an eco-friendly path lately and Ry Stephens Design provides stationery that will have you writing letters with a kind to the earth conscience. They use 100% recycled white paper and envelopes, biodegradable cello bags and they place their orders from companies that use green energy (windmills, etc.).
I love the beauty and simplicity of these cards. You can order cards, wedding invitations, birth announcements and much more. Each item is made to order. Let them know if you would like any card personalized & they will be happy to oblige. Quality products go into the making of this line of stationery including felt, ribbon & Swarovski crystals.
Featured here is the Statue of Liberty greeting card. Honoring one of my favorite cities (and the majority of my family members who came through it), I just had to show off this beautiful card.
Remember to think of Ry Stephens Design when you are looking for your next set of stationery, invites or cards. Guaranteed to thrill your recipients with your thoughtfulness. And it’s important to be thoughtful. My mama told me so.
