Fresh and Chic: Candessence/Debby Arem Jewelry - January 31
Now I’ve got a good one for you. You’re about to meet Candy Fitzsimmons and her wonderful shop, Candessence. Candy is a Chicago police officer. That’s right…a big city cop making bath & body products on the side. And as Candy likes to put it..”I make a mean body buttah.”
I’m not quite sure where Candy gets the time & energy to make her awesome products but I’m sure glad that she does & you will be too! Her buttahs have a short ingredient list. Just shea butter, mango butter, grapeseed oil, peach kernel oil, cornstarch & fragrance. That’s it. She whips ‘em herself and these rock. Make sure you try her Amazing Grace duplicate for a good time. This product will put your dry skin in the past.
Another favorite of mine is the Shimmy Shimmy Cocoa Scrub. This lotion bar will add life & pleasure to your shower & it has nearly 60% cocoa butter to make your skin happy.
If you like scrubs like I like scrubs (that could be a tune, ya know), you’ll want to order the Whipped Body Frosting Sugar Scrub. What a great product. I’m all for a little scrubbin’ every day.
I tried most of what Candessence has to offer and there was not a loser in the crowd. Candy makes fabulous soaps and wax tarts as well. You’ll be shocked with the quality of these goods.
Enjoy free shipping with every $50.00 order and go along with one of their slogans…”Don’t save ‘em. Use ‘em!! I’ll always make more!”
Debby Arem is so talented & has some of the coolest jewelry that you’ll ever see. Having honed her artistic skills in many different venues, she’s currently working on items made with recycled printed circuit boards (PCB’s). She makes all kinds of jewelry with these elements & if you are looking for something new that is uber cool…you’ve found it right here.
She even creates bookmarks, clipboards & keychains from the PCB’s. The pair of earrings that are pictured here are a mere $22.00 and would look chic with any outfit. Isn’t it fun when your friends comment on what you are wearing? You just must own a pair of these. One thing that I should definitely point out is that the earrings (and this line) are very lightweight. My mother is always concerned with wearing very heavy earrings & she’s pointed this out to me for years. When I wear these, I feel like I have nuttin’ on. But I know that I look good!
Debby also has two Etsy shops where she sells her goods…one of them is Debby Arem Designs & the other is EurekaEureka where she sells gemstones & lampwork beads. Be sure to stop by all of Debby’s shops and let her know that you learned of her in Wickedly Chic.
