Beautify Me: Crater Lake Company - January 31
Hey Wickedly Chic readers! Boy, do I have a treat for you this week. This week is a celebration of sorts for my latest review. Crater Lake Company is celebrating the re-grand opening of their fabulous bath and body store. This company took a leave of absence to tend to a family emergency and they are happily back on track with an amazing product line.
Today I’m celebrating their opening with some scrub love. These products should come with a warning label, “just one sniff and you’re addicted”. I’m sure Crater Lake isn’t sorry about that, but really…these products belong in your shower or bath and not on your office desk just to sniff, people. Anyway, first up a fresh and modern cocktail of Sparkling Cucumber Bellini in a delightful Cream and Sugar Scrub. This sugary scrub is luxuriously delicious. Creamy shea butter is combined with skin loving sweet almond oil and one of my favorite ingredients, jojoba oil. Toss in some sugary bits and you have got yourself some highly moisturizing bliss. Oh, did I mention the delightful fragrance? One of Crater Lake’s own blends, the Sparkling Cucumber Bellini is fantastic. I have to be honest my husband is the big “cucumber” fan around here and he gave it a huge thumbs up and gave me permission to smell like this any time I wanted.
Ever feel like floating on a cloud? How about a Sugar Cloud? Crater Lake’s Sugar Cloud is a wonderful and lightly abrasive cleansing sugar scrub. If you are like me and like to exfoliate a little every day, than this product is perfect for you. I really loved the rich and creamy bath cream base in this product, it makes you feel squeaky clean and your feet will love you for it too. I’m a huge fan of citrus blends and their Yuzu was right up my alley. If you’ve never experienced this fragrance before, I think you’ll love it. It’s not your ordinary citrus and is a nice change.
