Indies of the Week: willowNwisp/Ballymoon Beauty - January 24
There’s a lovely shop over on Etsy that I’d like to introduce our readers to. willowNwisp is an Australian business that creates some terrific jewelry using vintage components.
Owner Dannelle West spent much of her childhood rummaging around for collectibles & has made her hobby into a business as an adult. You’ll find a lovely vintage mix in her pieces. All of her jewelry is one of a kind & she refers to her style as “eclectic, bohemian style with a vintage flair.”
Currently Dannelle is working on her spring line of jewelry which will feature strong, bold colors with an Asian influence. You’ll want to keep watching her shop for the debut of this fun line.
For just $18.00, the necklace pictured here can be yours…ready to wear every day or to your next party. Made with glass, czech glass, lampwork beads & reclaimed vintage pieces, this is a winning combination for any fashionista.
Pop on over to willowNwisp today & make sure to bookmark so you can keep checking back for additions to the collection.
I’m always pleased to introduce businesses that are located outside of the US so now we go from Australia over to the Canadian Rockies. Ballymoon Beauty is a mom & daughter team who work with a chemist to create some fabulous products.
Ballymoon Beauty has so many wonderful products that it’s hard to know where to start. You’ll find high-end products & packaging with moderate prices. I’ll start with my first love. Body Myst. Two little words & an amazing product. Ballymoon refers to this as “liquid body butter” and I have to agree. If you have a tendency toward dry skin and you like to spray yourself after bathing, here’s your answer. The one that I am using is scented in Winter in Kilkenny & it has a lovely light & fresh yet wintery scent that reminds me of…oh say…Canada. Delightful…as my dad would say.
Being the queen of stress, I’m also crazy about their Relieve headache formula. This comes in a roller-ball bottle and with its peppermint scent, you can just roll it over your temples whenever you’ve just had enough.
I’ve also sampled their Ageless Essence Cream in Ballymoon Days. While a tad on the pricey side for many budgets, a little will go a long way and is a perfect light creme for all skin types. I tend toward dryness with a few random pimples (if I didn’t have these as a teenager, why do I have them when I’m over 40?)...I guess that’s a mystery that hasn’t been solved yet. This creme is perfectly soothing & not too heavy and is enriched with vitamins, Retinol A & AHA. A terrific combination & wonderful for your skin.
Visit this delightful business today & make sure that you snag a bottle of the Body Myst. Let them know that you saw them here…in the heart of the universe…Wickedly Chic.
