Fresh & Chic: Bayside Soap & Candle/Debby Arem Jewelry - January 24

Debby Arem is so talented & has some of the coolest jewelry that you’ll ever see. Having honed her artistic skills in many different venues, she’s currently working on items made with recycled printed circuit boards (PCB’s). She makes all kinds of jewelry with these elements & if you are looking for something new that is uber cool…you’ve found it right here.

She even creates bookmarks, clipboards & keychains from the PCB’s. The pair of earrings that are pictured here are a mere $22.00 and would look chic with any outfit. Isn’t it fun when your friends comment on what you are wearing? You just must own a pair of these. One thing that I should definitely point out is that the earrings (and this line) are very lightweight. My mother is always concerned with wearing very heavy earrings & she’s pointed this out to me for years. When I wear these, I feel like I have nuttin’ on. But I know that I look good!

Debby also has two Etsy shops where she sells her goods…one of them is Debby Arem Designs & the other is EurekaEureka where she sells gemstones & lampwork beads. Be sure to stop by all of Debby’s shops and let her know that you learned of her in Wickedly Chic.

If you have issues with skin sensitivity but still love to surround your body & home with luscious fragrances, you’ll have to take a look at Bayside Soap & Candle. Located in one of my very favorite small cities, Bellingham, WA, owner Kristy Carpenter makes lovely products using essential oils.

I enjoy burning candles at my desk while I work (as well as cranking tunes) and I’ve been most impressed with her soy wax votive scented in Apple-Cinnamon. This votive will give you a 20 hour burn time & burns evenly & slowly. I’ve noticed that if you look at the Bayside site, you will see that you can order sets of votive candles for just $15.95 for 12 of them! That’s 180 hours of burn time at a fabulous price! For a mere $1.50 extra, you can snag yourself a glass container. Remember…votives (especially soy) need to be burned in a tight container.

Moving on, Bayside has delightful bath oils in a wonderful array of scents. I tried the Calming scent (I think that Kristy secretly knew that I can be a mental disaster) and I love it. Whether you place these oils on your skin or in your tub, serenity will be yours.

Bayside also has a line of gourmet cold-process soap. Each soap contains skin-loving & nurturing essential oils which will create a good experience for skin and nose. Each bar weighs in at 3.5 ounces and the cost is a reasonable $3.50.

Be sure to check out lip balms. You can find these either in a tube or in a jar and with wonderful ingredients such as coconut oil & sweet almond oil.

A great shopping experience awaits you at Bayside where you can enjoy smelling pretty along with great customer service. Don’t forget…you heard it here.
