Indies of the Week: The Bath Shop/Plumeria Bay - November 1
Simple & sweet Victorian packaging is what you’ll notice first when browsing products at The Bath Shop. This New Mexico-based business creates soaps, lotions & potions that are wonderful for the health of your skin.
First of all, I loved the soap. My favorite scent, Crybabies Love Lavender, is a perfectly pure lavender sniff. Scented with Bulgarian Lavender Essential Oil, you’ll immediately feel calm when using this in your shower. You won’t find any harsh chemicals or petroleum products in the soaps from The Bath Shop. And their website gives lots of great info on the differences between commercial (filled with detergents) soap and handmade cold process soap.
I love to spray myself & my surroundings with the Crybabies Love Lavender spray made with simple ingredients & can be used for room scenting, linens or body spraying.
Finally, The Bath Shop has a lovely line of lotion made with shea butter, olive oil, avocado oil & honey that your skin will love. Very soothing & neither heavy nor greasy, this is a terrific product. I enjoyed the Ooh La La Almond.

There are lots of reasons why I can’t stand getting out of bed in the morning and now…I have yet another excuse. That excuse came by way of Plumeria Bay and their excellent down comforters. These are not your average run-of-the-mill comforters by any means.
First, you can actually choose the warmth level of the comforter that you order. Mine is an “autumn” warmth which is good for year round. However, you can have yours filled with more or less down depending on how you like it. Plumeria Bay uses only the best Polish and Hungarian White Goose Down for their down comforters. This goose down is washed, sanitized, sorted and tested to the highest standards, under strict supervision, using state of the art German equipment.
The outside of the comforters are made with 300 count Egyptian cotton ensuring a luxurious feel to it. And…these comforters come with a 10 year warranty!
There are many different styles to choose from and you are certain to find one that is perfect for you. You might pay a bit more for these excellent comforters but you will have many years of excellent service providing wonderful value. And don’t miss their selection of duvets and blankets.
And…like me…you won’t wanna get out of bed!
