Beautify Me: Oui Marie/Bubble Shack - November 1

Skip the coffee this morning and go straight for the Orange Juice….okay, maybe that’s not a good idea if you have to have your coffee like me…but you can pamper yourself with my latest review of Oui Marie. Who is Marie, you say? Well, the creator of this new shop on Etsy explained it like this, “Marie is a lady from the Victorian era. She’s beautiful, bold, silly, clever and is ahead of her time. This is because she’s a lady who is not afraid to speak her mind (with proper manners, of course). And, she’s a little bit spoiled. Actually, she’s VERY spoiled but this doesn’t taint her good-natured personality. It’s just that folks have trouble saying anything other than “Oui” to a lovely lady like Marie.”

So with a little imagination, I unscrewed the lid of my Delectable Orange Juice body cream and slathered on a yummy citrus blend to soothe my skin and my “inner Marie”. I loved this very rich formula. It was really creamy, and extra moisturizing with the added shea butter but not greasy at all.

It’s also November and a perfect time for my favorite fall time treat….pumpkin pie with an added bonus…no calories! I’m talking about The Perfect Perfume from Oui Marie. Just perfect for your pocket and with an easy to apply roll on bottle, I was sniffing my pumpkin pie arm in no time.

Both of these products would make a great stocking stuffers and with their fabulous fragrance list, you’ll be sure to find something for everyone. Head over there today and check out their newest fragrances…Warm Apple Crisp, Chocolate Orange, Blooming Lilac and more.

Say aloha to my next review Bubble Shack Hawaiian Soap Company. I also recommend saying yes to their Funky By Nature Soaps. Wow, are they delicious! Diving right into this review, I’ve gained some new favorites and I think you will too…once you try them.

Up first is a Funky by Nature soap, Snow Storm in Kona. This eye-opening blend is delicious and perfect for exfoliation. I loved the bits of Kona Coffee beans…they are more of a coarse exfoliant…but work well as an every day buff for your feet and a few times a week for the body. The peppermint essential oils are perfect for a morning wake-up and the top notes of Kahlua and Cream make it smooth and well rounded.

I’m also really big into earth fragrances that are blended just right. The Hawaiian Earth & Rosemary soap bar is right up my alley and was a hit with my husband as well. The sandalwood, patchouli, clary sage and vetiver give it that masculine feel, but it’s balanced perfectly with mandarin, lemon and more to make it a great unisex blend. These bars are quite large and have lasted a long time.

Lastly, for today’s Bubble Shack review is their Lilikoi Shave Ice Lotion. Perfectly packaged in a pump bottle this lotion is not only a refreshing drink for your skin, but a yummy fragrance for your nose as well.

I hope you’ll head over to Bubble Shack today and check out some of the wonderful products mentioned. The list of soaps that I have to try is growing rapidly each time I visit. I can’t wait to try Epic Nectar, Far Out Figgy, Juicy Pineapple & Coconut…just to name a few! Head over to Bubble Shack today and see what’s on your gotta have list!
