Beautify Me: Purefire Waxworks/Alima Cosmetics - October 25
This week also brings us yet another yummy soy candle company. Purefire Waxworks has just what you need in time for the fall season. I’ve enjoyed a variety of tea lights and votive candles.
Mulled Cider is a delicious apple blend of fresh cider and a sprinkle of cinnamon. It’s a light fragrance that would be perfect for the dinner table. My next favorite is the Dark Pumpkin Votive. It’s a Purefire Wax original with a yummy base of rich pumpkin, cardamom, nutmeg, clove and more. This is a deep fragrance with a lovely scent throw. The list of autumn fragrances is one of the larger ones I’ve come across….they also offer Autumn Apple and Witches Brew.

Hey Wickedly Chic readers! It’s been a few weeks since I’ve brought you a review for mineral make-up and boy, do I have a treat for you. I’m in love with Alima Cosmetics. I’ve actually had a few weeks to really try out the products and give them a chance & it has been great.
The first product I recommend is the Satin Matte Foundation. It’s lightweight and blends in so dreamy. There are many colors to choose from and Alima offers a special color page to help guide you on what to purchase for your skin tone. They also offer services through their make-up artists to help you if you need it. I follow up my make-up application with the mineral concealer. I’m amazing the amount of coverage you get with such a lightweight powder. It draws the redness out of blemishes and I’m amazed with the way it blends. I loved it for my dark circles in the morning.
Next up is the Satin Matte Blush. I’ve used Apple Blossom a soft pale pink. It’s a great every-day color for a light application of make up and for the evening, you can apply a little more for a darker finish. Mineral make-ups can be so diverse since you control the level of color and can blend with others to suit you.
