Callisto is my first feature. The word Callisto means beautiful. This dreamy bath and body company is full of wonderful bath & body products to make you feel your most beautiful. I recently indulged in their Buttercloud Body Polish. My polish came in the Maui Sunset fragrance, a delicious blend of fruitiness that reminded me more of a champagne fruit punch. After one scoop of this thick and creamy body polish, I felt a gentle exfoliation with the added bonus of rich and creamy shea butter to moisturize. The Buttercloud Polish is something that I would recommend using before a shave. With the rich formula, it softens your skin and prepares for a perfect close shave. It’s also a wonderful polish for your elbows and feet.

t.w.i.n.k Beauty or Two Women in Nature’s Knowledge is my mineral make-up feature for this week. First of all…. how cool is their name. I love how it gives you a creative view of what this company is about right from the beginning. Two eco-conscious women. Karen and Rhiannon, created this company to steer away from the corporate consumerism and really embrace the independent concept.

Their mineral make-up is the majority of their focus and is completley 100% natural. My latest experience with their line was the Fruit Pop eye shadow. I tend to go more natural, but add color in from time to time. This blend was just the right mix of neutral and green to highlight.

Next was a new product for me in the indie world of make-up. A lip stain called Jewel and I loved it! Served up in a cute little tin was this natural blend of oils, beeswax and iron oxides that created a lip color that lasted. Perfect for wearing alone or as a base for a simple gloss, there are many ways to use the stain.

Not only does t.w.i.n.k Beauty care about what goes on your skin, but they are seriously conscious about the environment.
