Being a Jersey girl living in the Midwest (& spending many summers on the Jersey shore), I can’t help but LOVE any business down that way. Especially if it’s a candle biz. And even better…it’s one terrific indie business. Based on Manasquan, NJ, Things that Make Scents is owned by Janine Predmore. Janine provides soy candles to her growing customer list & if you like strongly scented, clean burning candles…then you will love these!
Things that Make Scents has a nice list of fragrances to choose from such as Cookie Jar (my fave), French Vanilla, Cool Citrus Basil, Jersey Girl (apple & caramel taffy sprinkled with nuts), & Summer at the Shore (ocean & salt water scent). Those are just a few of the awesome smells that are cookin’ at Things that Make Scents. You can purchase candles in jars, votives & tart form.
