Indie of the Week: Beaded Hemp - May 3
While the website itself isn’t fancy and the packaging is simple, the Beaded Hemp has some of the most amazing bath and body products available. I love Beaded Hemp so come along with me as we explore some of the many items that owner Robyn has to offer. She tells Wickedly Chic that she likes to stay as natural as possible with her products and that there isn’t anything that she makes that she would not personally use on herself or her children.
First of all, I love her Whipped Foaming Bath Butter. This product is enriched with sweet almond oil and works wonderfully. Just like whipped butter (but better), you could even use this product for shaving. I’m hooked.
The Whipped Body Mousse is a winner too. Fluffy, moisturizing and enriched with aloe vera, it seems to me that the Body Mousse would be great for any season.
Crazy for scrubs (that’s me) and I loved this one too. Beaded Hemp has a great Whipped Foaming Sugar Scrub. This has sweet almond oil for extra moisturizing. This is a great product!
My hair loved the Soy Silky Shampoo and Conditioner as well. These hair-loving products can be scented in whatever scent that you choose and you can purchase them in sample sizes as well so that you can try them out!
Not to forget about your home, Robyn makes fabulous soy tarts for sticking in your tart burner. The scents last forever and if you love to burn (me, me, me) you’ll love these.
The scent list at Beaded Hemp is vast and I have a long list of scents that I can’t wait to try. My socks were completely knocked off by Pink Carnation. I took one whiff and I thought I was in heaven. Loooooove it. The Violet is quite beautiful as well. I was taken in by Cherry Fizz (7-up mixed with cherry), Coca Cola type (yep, smells just like the real thing), Iced Champagne (fruity and reminds me of being a kid) and Lucky Clover (fruity with flowers).
Robyn says that her favorite scents right now are Beach Bum, Serendipity, Pink Sugar Type and Fantasy Cake (which is a new scent). In addition, Robyn will create custom scents for her customers and she brings new scents to Beaded Hemp every month. Her scents for May are Wildflowers and Pineapple & Orange Juice. Yum. The scents of the month are always 20 percent off.
