Independent Shopping for the Wickedly Fashionable

Wicked Love: Groovy Etsy Shops - April 19

Well…I don’t drink, smoke or use illegal drugs but I do have a wonderful vice & that is shopping. I don’t need to buy…browsing can be good enough for me at times. When the world is too much for me, you can find me lost in a book or a store.

Here are a few of the stores that I have actually purchased from in the last year (or so) that are indie owned. You can find them all on Etsy. Enjoy, enjoy!

One of the first items that I purchased on Etsy was from Marketa New York where you can find fabulous well-made purses at reasonable prices for any season. Shown here is one of their current bags. I adore polka dots.

I love the work of Brooklyn artist Mary Andrews. Her indie biz, Contrary is full with beautiful jewelry & other lovelies. This bracelet caught my eye.

I’ve purchased some fun & colorful jewelry and one of my most favorites scarves (in pink with a red rose) from Nerdbomber. Here is a really fun bag that is available right now. It makes light of Odyssey of the Mind with bright yellow faces & huge teeth. Yeah…perfect for the pool or beach this summer.

Sinister is yet another great site for some fun browsing. If you like chainmaille jewelry, you will love Sinister. Affordable prices & great jewelry.
