“She is perfectly imperfect”, “she doesn’t pretend to be normal”, “she keeps her guardian angel busy”… these are all awesome sayings found on Allison Strine’s fabulous mixed media pendants! She uses everything from mag clippings, junk mail, tissue paper & acrylic paint to create her works of art. All of her pendants feature a “LadyBird”, either a woman or a bird. She solders a print of her work with silver metal into a pendant & each has a closed round loop at the top ready for your chain, ribbon or whatever you want to use to hang it.
Allison’s brilliant & thought provoking sayings are on the back of each 1.25” square of must-have cuteness. My fave is called “Her CREATIVE SLIP is Showing – Silly Loving Caring Pendant Bauble Charm Necklace Dangly Doo Dad Dangler”. Yes, Allison assigns each one a VERY original name! & I’m not alone in my new found love for these little collages. Allison’s pendants are taking off with store owners scooping them up to sell in their shops! You go girl!
Another talented artist making it big on etsy is Audra Antonik of Bibbidi Baubles. She creates pendants using polymer clay, pottery & glass. She also makes custom photo pendants! Just send her a photo & voila! Proudly show off your offspring or whoever.
A stay-at-home mom with a kiln, you must check out her amazing pottery pendants, gorgeous! But my faves are her polyclay creations with original & famous prints sealed onto clay with a high gloss finish. Her Tiny Bubbles Pendant is so smart & chic.
