Beautify Me: Naikid / Le Chat Beauty
Even before I start raving about the soap from Naikid, I have to say that the packaging is beautiful. So if you find yourself looking for an after the holiday gift for someone (hopefully for yourself), you have just gotta consider going Naikid. Melissa, the proprietress of Naikid, started her soapmaking business in 2003 when she realized how many darn chemicals there were in the soap and cosmetics that she was using. She discovered there were plenty of chemicals in the food that she was eating as well.
The Naikid line has some unusual and delicious fragrance combos to choose from. My favorite is the lemongrass & neem scent. I was familiar with lemongrass but not with neem. Neem has been used by the Indians for the past 4000 years and has many anti-bacterial and medicinal properties. This soap smells great and washes like a dream. The delightful Butter soap is fabulous too. Naikid considers this a pure and raw soap. The Butter soap has no added scent and is loaded with illipe butter, kokum butter, sal butter, shea butter, avocado oil and virgin coconut oil. Whew! If you need moisture, this one will do it for you quite nicely.

Dominique Simon created this biz with a small but terrific line of products. Using the french word le chat (the cat), she has created a line around cats but with a most ladylike touch.
The Meow Shower Cream will blow you away. Loaded with shea butter, anti-aging white tea, vitamins A, E and B-5 and aloe, this is so perfect for dry skin. Domininque recommends this as a shampoo as well. It worked so wonderfully for my dry, tangly and long hair. Your senses will be in heaven if you get this in Mojito Crush. Le Chat’s Sugar Sugar Scrub is one great product. Sugar, shea and coconut butter plus honey and other nourishing ingredients fill this fabulous scrub. Grapefruit Lime is an excellent body awakening choice.
