Fresh and Chic: La Chica Chic / Sublime Dragonfly
Speaking of fresh and chic, I would like to introduce you to a most amazing business, La Chica Chic. This fresh and exciting company sells bags and belts which are handcrafted in Brazil. La Chica Chic uses semi-precious stones, beads and quality metals to adorn their bags and belts. No outfit that you wear will ever be the same once you have added one of their belts or bags.
The bag featured here is the Nane and it is even more beautiful in person than in the picture. Designed by Cris Valdez, the bag is covered in Brazilian suede with gorgeous multi-colored sparkling beads and shiny hand-twisted gold wire. Truy eye-catching.
I took a peek at the Spring/Summer 2007 collection (yes, already) and the bags are not to be believed. Absolutely stunning. Browse through the site and pick out your favorite. It won’t be easy to choose from any of the beautiful items at La Chica Chic.
Being a Jersey girl myself (this said as I am wearing my Jersey Girl sweatshirt), I always love finding other such girls. Kristen Somerville is one of them and she has a great pampering business for the busy woman (or man). Sublime Dragonfly is the name of this blossoming business and the products that are offered are truly sublime.
My absolute favorite is the Sugar Fluff which is a perfect gentle and moisturizing scrub for the shower. The Sugar Fluff is loaded with shea butter (so you will not need moisturizer afterwards) and has sugar (of course) as an ingredient for gentle exfoliation. Kristen sent me the Irish Cream scent and everytime I use it, I smell like a glass of Bailey’s. And that’s a good thing, right? It’s really a fun scent.
I’m also crazy about the Pumice Butter Bar which is a two in one kind of bar. On one side, you will can exfoliate and on the other you moisturize. Very clever product and I love it. If you try the Sweet Ecstasy soap, you will be happy as well. Sublime Dragonfly makes high quality soaps along with many other items for the bath. Fly over to this site today!
