Indie of the Week: Dream Esscents
I’m so pleased to present Dream Esscents to our readers and grateful to Tanya for introducing her beautiful smelling business to Wickedly Chic. Dream Esscents is a Chicago based business which was created by Tanya through a lifelong love for fragrance. She started collecting perfumes as a small child and cannot remember a time when she was not blending her own fragrances.
Dream Esscents is known for their gourmande fragrances. However, Tanya has many customers that are requesting spices, woods and resins and she is slowly adding those to her line, while still trying to keep the amount of scents that she offers at a manageable level.
These are knock your socks off wonderful fragrances. I can’t say enough about Dream Esscents but I have to begin somewhere. First of all, I’m in love with her Noix de Coco scent. I have to admit that I do like coconut scents but they usually turn funky on me and I tend to steer away. Not this one. This is a true coconut milky scent that makes you want to sniff and sniff. I kind of want to cuddle up to it :)
Vintage Pumpkin is one of the scents that Dream Esscents has available for the holidays. If you love the smell of pumpkin but don’t want a straight pumpkin scent, this is for you. This is a “creamy” pumpkin scent and that is because it is blended with vanilla madagascar. Complete pumpkin heaven.
Two other holiday fragrances that Dream Esscents are offering are Gingerbread Woods and Vanilla Epice. If you love earthy type scents (and I really do) I think you will find Gingerbread Woods to be a wonderful fall choice. The notes are gingerbread, cardamom, nutmeg, indian sandalwood and cedarwood. A winner! If you enjoy warm oriental spices, you will love Vanilla Epice (another fab scent). The notes are cardamom, clove, nutmeg, madagascar vanilla and coconut.

All of the scents are also available in dry oil spray, shea butter body lotion and shea butter shower cream. The spray, body lotion and shower cream are wonderfully creamy and moisturizing and you will want them in every scent.
