Couture & Candy: The Ivy Keep / Crochet Girl![]() Cozy up with a warm beverage or grab a trinket for your tickle trunk from the Ivy Keep this season. Hailing from Ontario Canada, Krystyne Taylor-Smith shares her passion for the little splendors in life with the world. The site is build in a renaissance theme but don’t let that fool you, as their product line is diverse and will appeal to many. You will find everything from bath products and loose tea to throwing knives and medieval board games. Krystyne’s personal participation & interest in historic re-enactment societies was what inspired the company name and concept. Coupled with positive feedback from friends and family about her potions & concoctions, she opened her first website in 2001.
Get ready with your biggest mug so you can fill it with Ivy Keep’s Gourmet Hot Cocoa. My personal favorites are the Decadent White Chocolate & Dark Chocolate selections. I recommend preparing the mix with milk to ensure optimal richness & achieve the fullest flavour. The white chocolate has an almost buttery aroma and is just like biting into a piece of the confection. Divine Dark Chocolate is for those more partial to a standard cocoa but willing to take a step deeper to the world of chocolate sin. Other available flavours are marvellous mocha and chai spice, all available in 4 oz. packages.
Due to the wide range of products, I’m sure you’ll find something either for yourself or that someone special on your Christmas list this year!

These flowers and leaves earrings are bursting with colour! The vibrant kelly green leaves pop against the white flowers. A silver earwire joins to a chain linked to intricately crocheted pieces, each individually attached. These are a fun way to add originality to your ensemble.
Step beyond the world of afghans and doilies and enjoy what Crochet Girl has to offer today.
