Fresh and Chic: Branch Ranch / Ancienne AmbianceOne of my favorite restaurants for about the last 10 years or so has been the Branch Ranch in Plant City, FL. The Branch Ranch was first opened in 1956 by Mary Branch and had 50 years of serving some wonderful meals to many loyal customers. Sadly, the Branch Ranch restaurant closed earlier this year yet the owner, Michael Trauner (whose grandmother was Mary Branch) is continuing some of the traditions by selling some of the amazing food items that made the Branch Ranch so famous.
Their biggest sellers are the strawberry preserves, sweet cucumber pickles and the orange-pineapple preserves. These products are still carefully made right in Plant City according to the original recipes that Mary Branch used in the 1950’s. You will find the Branch Ranch to have very reasonable prices (including shipping). Any of their products would make lovely gifts for others and perfect treats for busy families to stock in their pantries. My personal favorites are the strawberry preserves, the pickles and the buttermilk mix. You can’t miss with any of their delicious products.
