Beautify Me: Blossom Sundries/Raw Beauty/Bag Lunch/Hidden Haven
For some truly beautiful soaps, check out Blossom Sundries. They’re beautiful to look at, embedded with herbs and flowers, and beautiful to your skin as well! I love the little Oatmeal and Honey Guest Soaps, scented with lavender—what a great way to make your guests feel at home. Or just pamper yourself!
You can also find bath sachets and candles on their site, and they’ll soon be adding jewelry bags and pin cushions, all lovingly handmade by the mother/daughter team of Sue and Lori. Pay them a visit today.
I always feel better knowing that there are still people out there who believe in making quality products with natural ingredients. Enter Janae, the founder of Raw Beauty, and her incredible array of natural, handmade bath and beauty products. Like the Fresh Body and Hair Perfume in Black Raspberry Vanilla. It’s sweet and yummy, and the concentrated scent will make everyone want to smell like you and has long lasting power.
Scrubs, lip care, nail care, kid care—these goodies and much more can all be found at Raw Beauty. Take a well deserved break and head to the site right now.
It’s rare to find a body care company that only makes one item, but such is the case with our friend Beck at Bag Lunch, and her amazing lip balm! This is a perfect example of doing one thing, and doing it well. The designs are stylishly simple, with a retro flair, and there are tons of flavors to choose from—all food-related! I’m a “sucker” for the Red Lollipop. Okay, that was pretty bad, but it is really yummy, and so are the Caramel Sundae and Sour Apple Martini. (I really don’t think you can go wrong with any of the choices available.)
Aside from the flavor, Bag Lunch only uses sweet almond oil, beeswax, shea butter and vitamin E—all natural goodness for your pucker! And if you’re looking for a unique idea for party favors, check out the “workshop”, where you can design your own custom balms—brilliant!
Do you know where the goat’s milk in your soap came from? Well, if you got it from Hidden Haven you’ll know that it came from Miss Diva, the dairy goat! And the herbs and flowers used in the soaps were grown and harvested by Peggy and her husband on their North Carolina homestead. I tried the Grapefruit Peppermint, and it was a wonderful perk-up for my mornings! It had a great lather and left my skin smooth. And you can’t beat the price on these 4 ounce bars.
Take a relaxing stroll through the Hidden Haven Homestead, and be sure to say hello to Miss Diva!
