Indie of the Week - Syntheticbliss

If you love soaps, read on. This one is for you! Allyson Lynch is an awesome soapmaker from the suburbs of Philadelphia. I ordered some soaps on a whim from Allyson and am I ever glad that I did!

One of the first things that led me to Syntheticbliss was the scents that the soaps come in. My three personal favorites at the moment are Neopolitan (which actually DOES look like neopolitan ice cream) and Rosemary Mint (with actual mint leaves attached) and Mint Chocolate Chip (which looks like something that you would want to eat). These are wonderful smelling soaps and so beautiful to look at!

Other scents that Syntheticxbliss have to offer include oat and honey, lavender, coffee, chamomile and finally, oatmeal lavender. I should mention that all of the soaps made by Syntheticbliss are vegan! They plan on adding some more scents in the near future. These would include Dragon’s Blood, a spa inspired soap, Orange, Orange and Cream, Tea Tree and Green Tea.

I asked Allyson to tell me a bit about how she makes her soaps and she told me that she uses a melt and pour soap base. After she melts the soap, she always adds extra oils (especially olive oil). I can assure you that when you use these soaps, your skin will feel moisturized even if you have dry skin like I do.

One of the greatest things that I have found about Allyson is that she is so young and so talented. She will be graduating from high school on June 7th and will be finishing up her hours in Cosmetology. Working in the beauty industry has taught Allyson to make sure that people always look and feel their best and her soaps show that. Every bar of soap is handmade with dedication, love and attention to detail.

She has other hobbies and talents as well. She loves to sew and she makes clothing and purses and will gladly send you photos of some of the items that she has made if you are interested in a custom order. Syntheticbliss has started to make wooden plugs for the ears. These are not advertised on the website but if you contact Allyson by e-mail, she can tell you all about them!

You can order soaps from this lovely young lady in three ways. You can see them on Etsy. Her shop is Syntheticbliss. She also sells soaps on another site Purple Pink and Orange. If you wish to contact her by e-mail and place an order, you can find Allyson at syntheticxbliss@hotmail.com.

These soaps look amazing, lather beautifully and will make you smell great! You might also consider them for gift giving. The beauty and scent of these soaps would make an awesome gift. Don’t hesitate to place an order now!
